Checkmate: This is War

I absolutely loved, no correction, I FLOVED this book. I devoured this book in hours.
It was completely engaging, exciting and had me on the edge of my seat.

Friends to Enemies - Travis and Viola wage a war of wits in this book that had me dying from laughter, from excitement and basically had me cursing out loud throughout.

From the OH MY FUCK, did that just happen to the NO FUCKING WAY as they each try to out do each there in a game of words, and actions.

And let's not forget the sexual tension between these two. They could BURN A CITY down with their chemistry. Just scorching hotness and you were on the edge of your seat wondering if they would actually give in.

But that ending. FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK that ending.
I need the next book NOW, RIGHT THIS INSTANT.
This is an insta fav for me and a must read for everyone. Book Funk for sure after this.

Travis King is the worst kind of a**hole.
He taunts me for being a good girl and mocks my high standards.
He’s cruel, crass, and has enough confidence to last two lifetimes.
And I hate him.

It wouldn’t matter so much if he were avoidable.
But considering he’s my older brother’s best friend and roommate, I see him more than I’d ever want to.
His sculpted abs and gorgeous eyes are wasted on such an arrogant man, which makes me hate him even more.

Even though I’ve had a crush on him since I was ten, the feelings weren’t mutual and he’s made that very clear.
He’s always loved getting under my skin and one night against my better judgment, I let him in my bed.
I’ve succumbed to his manw**re ways, but that doesn’t change a thing.

Because the King is about to get played at his own game—and lose.
