A great Christmas story! I love second chance romance. Tom and Hannah had been happily married when a tragic event occurred. Not being able to rise above it they divorced. Three years later Tom is investigating a string of jewelry store robberies. Hannah's store was one of them. While working the cases Tom and Hannah reconnect. The suspense is what will keep you reading. I couldn't put the book down because I had to know what happens next. Between the had to know who did it and the budding romance I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

This was a fast paced dramatic book and I loved it! I have definitely found a new author. this story was brilliant and I can't wait for the next one <3

It was amazing Tom & Hannah had it all at one time and it all went to hell within the 3 years. They’re marriage was ruined by a terrible event that happened to her. Fast forward to the present, Hannah owns a jewelry store now and she got robbed at gunpoint and low and behold who comes around to help her, her ex husband Tom! Just the person she didn’t want to see because he walked out on her when she needed him. Or so she thinks he did. Anyways. He wants to catch the person who is doing this robbery and trying to hurt her but somehow when he’s about to solve the case after having the person they think it was 💥 BAM! Something new occurs and it continues!

At first I couldn’t get it into it, but after the action started and the twists and plots that I thought I knew how they would go turned out that I wrong and it was a whole new twist! Awesome read, I can’t wait to read more from the author.

Tragedy tore them apart now its giving them a second chance. He walked away because he thought it was what she wanted. She let him because she thought it was what was best for him. FBI Agent Tom Drake has been investigating a string of armed robberies at jewelry stores. The last person he expects to see when he arrives at the scene of the latest robbery is his ex-wife Hannah Buffy. Hannah is conflicted about seeing her ex-husband again, especially when he starts claiming he thinks the robbery at her store isn't related to the other ones. Is this just another excuse for Tom to treat her like a victim or could he be right? ** Warning: Graphic violence and themes of sexual assault/abuse **
