Jasinda Wilder comes out with a flirtatiously fun and witty read. Hammered features a divorcee who basically stuck in a fixer upper with no means to fix everything that seems to be wrong with it thanks to her cheating exhusband. Enter Jesse who's the hot handy man she calls after seeing an ad when one of her windows breaks. What you get is a cute and fun storyline with lots of flirting involving some clever sexual innuendos. The steam and chemistry factor in this is pretty high. Jess is super sweet and his gestures will have you swooning. The one thing that I loved about this book is the age range of the characters, which coincidentally happens to be around the same range I am. The cast of characters in this are fun, and I'll be honest the guys we are introduced to remind me of my hubby and his friends. Their light hearted yet nature with one another and their constant joking around was hilarious to me. I've been reading so many books that are either YA or involve 20 year olds that it was nice to read a romance about middle agers. I'm definitely looking forward to the next books in this series.
