Scoring the Quarterback

Sarah's thoughts...

A new to me author and what a great way to be introduced. The character build up was steady and the friendships between them were solid. Natalia, has it tough growing up and in her adult life it doesn't get much better with her wicked half sister. Luke, the hot QB, the typical jock. I would of liked more from his P.O.V, I think. His typical ways aren't in your face, which is a nice change but also kind of lacks the whole point of been promiscuous. Totally threw me with what he did, in no less than a day though, it actually broke my heart for Natalia. I was totally cheering Sam on! A great read, that's given me another author to read more of.

Laura's thoughts...

Great Read

Luke, the man whore football player. Natalia, the book loving nerd. Two polar opposites. Luke wants her... bad, but winning Natalia over is going to take some effort. She’s not going to fall at his feet just because he plays ball. I really enjoyed this read. It made me laugh and cry, always a sign of a good book in my view.

Katy's thoughts...

What. A. Book!!! Ohhh the angst! The storyline grips you from start to finish. Boy, I may have even leaked a little tear or two. The emotions literally pour off the page and wrap around your stone cold heart. If you like Angst and you like Frenemy books that this is for you!!!

Claire's thoughts...

The QB and the quiet nerd. Natalia is at University to learn, pass her exams and get a job at the end of it. Luke is the Star QB determined to make the big league! They are thrown together in for a class project and have to find a way to work together. Natalia's step sister is always there to throw a spanner in the works. Can they get over the preconceptions they have of each other and actually find love with each other?

About the Book

Luke Caldwell has three abhorrent qualities to him: 1) He's a pig-headed jock. 2) He's a grade A asshole with the biggest, overbearing ego. 3) He's a manwhore. These three qualities alone should've had me running for the hills. I tried to steer clear of him, I really did, but it was an impossible feat. Luke Caldwell was nothing if not persistent, and the way he bulldozed through my life, not taking no for an answer is proof of it. I tried to stay away from him. I wanted to hate him. But I couldn't. Luke was nothing like the idiot jock I pegged him out to be. He became a friend, a confidant, and after one unforgettable night, he became so much more. Whatever this is between us, it's impossible to ignore. I just hope when all is said and done, I won't be burned by the college bad boy.
