The Outliers

Book Review - THE OUTLIERS by T.M. FRAZIER

The Outliers is the conclusion to The Outskirts duet and I've been patiently waiting for this one after that crazy ending of Book 1. This book picks right back up and it seems that Sawyer's life is once again turn upside down and we finally get some answers of how Sawyer came to be. This book is a slow build of suspense as things come to a head for Sawyer and Finn as well as their Outskirts family. I love that they both seem to grow closer and closer to one another throughout this book. Finn is possessively protective of Sawyer but what I also love is that he constantly reminded her of her strength. These two were the perfect pairing and that become poetically even more evident as we delve into some of the past in this book. The secondary characters are just as good in this book as well. Critter, Josh and Miller bring a bit of humour into this book that had me chuckling. Especially Miller, part of me hopes that he and Josh will get their own story. Overall this was a good read and a great conclusion the this series. I loved that fact that it was a duet as I tend to find sometimes that books that go on can become somewhat drawn out for me so this was really perfect in that way. I would definitely recommend this series for someone that loves suspense, second chances mixed with a little bit of humour.

Sensual. Heartbreaking. Passionate. Overwhelming. Maddening.

That’s the love Finn and I share.

It's the kind you can never recover from.

The kind you never WANT to recover from.

That's why we'll do everything and anything to protect it.

When my past chases me all the way to Outskirts, we have to make a choice.

Let the lies destroy our chance at future together or...bury them deep in the swamp where they belong.

Got a shovel?
