Dr. ER

Book Review – DR. ER by MAX MONROE

Seriously someone tell me there is a hospital that exists with hot doctors like the ones in this series. I will gladly inflict some non life threatening injury upon myself if that is the case. First Will now Scott these doctors have me seriously ready to lay down and say poke me yes go ahead poke me. I need a fully body physical examination.

Max Monroe delivers yet another funny, flirty, sexy romance that left me smiling from ear to ear.

The storyline always comes with great lines that make me snort out loud. I absolutely love the way the characters in their books talk probably because it is similar to my own colorful language.

The way Scott and Harlow meet is epic especially the circumstances in which Harlow finds herself needing Scott’s assistance and the banter between Scott and Harlow was hilarious. I loved watching the relationship between these two develop. There was some seriously hot chemistry between these two and Scott OH MY !!!! He had some moments that made my heart melt a little. He was also a little cocky but I loved that about him.

The one thing about any books from Max Monroe that just adds to the goodness that we already get with the two main characters are the supporting cast members. Whether it was the interaction between Harlow and her Bestie, or the scenes with Harlow’s parents and Scott’s mom. I always find myself falling in love with all of them.

Max Monroe continues to write brilliantly funny, cute, romances with sexy main characters that will leave you full of smiles. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. The only bad thing I can say is that I read this way too fast because I couldn’t stop and now it’s over and I’m a little bit sad about that. Definitely a reread book for sure.

My Rating

Dr. Erotic. That’s what they’ve decided to call me, Scott Shepard, the head of St. Luke’s Hospital Emergency Department. Just thinking about it makes me smile. As the new face of the reality docuseries, The Doctor Is In, I plan to take his power and recognition right to the streets of New York City and into the pants of willing women.

Well, that was my plan.

Until her—feisty, beautiful, and addictively sexy Harlow Paige. A gossip columnist that just loves writing about yours truly, she’s everything I thought I never wanted and then some. She drives me crazy. Problem is, she doesn’t want to be anything when it comes to me—not friends, not lovers, not even adversaries. God, I love a good challenge. Get ready, Harlow. Love is contagious.
