REVIEW: Bad Boy Brody by Tijan
Bad Boy Brody was not at all what I expected. Did I hope that I would enjoy it, of course because it’s Tijan and I’m a fan of her stories. This story however was different and unconventional. I’ll be honest in saying that while I did have a tough time understanding Morgan’s relationship with the horses the story telling was fascinating and it kept me reading wanting to find out more. Brody well I absolutely loved him. His pain was real, his struggles heart wrenching and as he and Morgan connect I found myself loving their story. There is also a bit of a plot twist that I will say I did not see coming that absolutely threw me for a loop and had me gasping out loud. Overall i was a huge fan of this read. Unique storyline with some interesting twists and turns.
One punch took him from Hollywood’s Golden Boy to Bad Boy Brody. The media didn’t care he was grieving his brother’s death. They descended on him, but to change his reputation, his manager got him a deal. Act in an indie film, one that already had Oscar buzz, and he’d get the movie roles he needed to secure his future. He took the deal. Yet he wasn’t prepared for the real-life people behind the script. He wasn’t prepared for the murder the movie was based on. And he really wasn’t prepared for her, the biggest secret of all. She was wild. She was beautiful. She defied gravity. But was she the leading role that would tame him?
