Heartbreaking story with heartwarming end.

This was the first book I had ever read by Stephanie Nichole and I was pleasantly surprised. Her storyline captures so much emotion and she has a gift with storytelling that I loved. Jovi and Summer both have painful pasts experiencing separation from one another, a love storying spanning over years which was enjoyable to read. They go through much heartbreak and a push and pull game which isn't overdone and makes your heart ache. The only wish I have is that from the point where Jovi deals with his PTSD and they chose to pursue a relationship together there would be more time spent together talking to one another and getting to know them. I feel there's a lot on Jovi's family dynamic which I loved as it was heartwarming to read about their love for one another however, I felt the as though I couldn't really connect with the characters as I didn't know them enough. I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for a sweet, heartwarming and heartbreaking story.

Out of all the brothers Jovi was the one we saw the least of throughout, so I feel.he was always a but if a mystery. He certainly managed to hold up the James brothers reputation of slightly damaged but so loveable. This whole series has been great
