I loved how easy these two kind of fell into each other. Stitch, although has his hang ups is totally all over his Suzey Baby. As for Susan, falling hard and fast, has a lot of stress going on and Stitch just keeps adding to it. A great read. I think it'd be helpful to read the previous books, but not necessary.

This book had me gripped right from the start. I read a lot of contemporary romance books and I just found this one so different. Yes, there’s the whole Stitch and Susan love story going on, but there’s also the mystery of trying to work out who is raping and strangling local women. Usually my reads have some high powered millionaire male boss, and some beautiful assistant, this was the complete opposite. Stitch is a sexy tattoo artist and Susan works crime scenes for evidence. These two are chalk and cheese, but dear god are they hot! One small thing bugged me and it’s so stupid 😂. The name of our leading lady, Susan.... it just seemed so blah for such a kick ass woman. I kept hearing Reese Witherspoon’s character in “Monsters V Aliens”. When she’s asked what awesome name she has and she says ‘SUSAN’ 😜🤪 Yes I’m weird, but once that popped into my head, it wouldn’t pop back out. My first book by this author and I will definitely be checking out more of her work!

Susan and Stitch are an unlikely couple but when they get together it's just meant to be if only stitch can get over his issues. There is a serial killer out their somewhere and the police have no idea who it is? Could it be one of their own?

The intrigue of this book really helped me get out of my book funk. Although it's book 4 in a series, it's definitely a stand alone. Susan's police work has her looking for a serial killer. However, she had no idea just how close she is in becoming the next victim. Stitch is a tattoo artist that is trying to keep himself from falling for Susan. One night of passion just isn't enough.

I absolutely loved reading this book and was sucked into it right from the beginning. I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time! I couldn't believe all the surprise twists and turns the book took. I definitely see what happen at the end happening! I definitely recommend reading this book you will love it!

"It all started with a dance. Then it turned into a sexy, dirty night of fun. Everything, from the moment he met her, scared the shit out of him. He left after one night. Now, thrust back in her life, Stitch can’t help but pull her into his arms knowing it can never last. He’s a good guy, most days. He has a record. She works for the police department. Definitely doesn’t mix well with his tough and tattooed image. Life is complicated, especially at work. Stitch walking back into her life adds another level of difficulty she didn’t expect, but Susan wants Stitch as badly as he wants her. She knows she’s setting herself up for heartbreak. Focusing on work helps to keep her mind off the one man who can turn her upside down with one heated look. The latest string of murders needs her complete attention. She has no evidence, no leads, and no idea how close the killer is to making her his next victim. ♡ Warning: This novel contains a sexy tattoo artist. Get ready for lots of heat and a dose of angst, because Stitch is about to make your heart swoon. Happy r

eading! ♡"

I love anything that has to do with romance. As long as there's a happy ending, I'm a happy camper. I love baseball (Go Twins!) and creating awesome crafts. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, working in that field for several years before I became a stay-at-home mom. When I'm not hanging out with my wonderful family, I'm writing a sweet contemporary romance or a romantic suspense that keeps you guessing until the end. I have a few more amazing stories in the works.
