Review: Meant to be Kept by Amelia Foster

Genre: New Adult

Publication Date: January 22, 2019

One night. One too many drinks. One mistake. That’s all it took to derail my marriage.

Now, all I can do is beg for a second chance. To try and redeem myself in a bid not to lose the love of my life.

I’m determined to use every second, every moment I have to show my wife how much she means to me—to rebuild the trust I shattered.

But the harder I try, the more I start to realize our marriage had fallen into a routine of complacency and misplaced priorities long before my indiscretion.

Isabelle is a strong, passionate, beautiful woman—a wife who has sacrificed so much for me. I just hope it’s not too late for us, and that I’ll be able to convince her that our love is meant to be kept.

⭐️⭐️⭐️*Possible spoilers BEWARE*⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love cheating books and then the characters having to work through their issues and in that sense this book didn’t disappoint. With belle’s past I can see how something so small could cause big issues but at the same time i was annoyed. They both realize that their marriage was on a downward spiral but Belle didn’t take any of the blame. That’s what annoyed me. She was to ready to please and keep Tanner happen she didn’t say anything when he kept putting work first so I turn it was the downfall of their marriage. I won’t say that that fact alone make me not like this book, because I did like it. I liked tanner working his butt off to make her see his love. While what happened was a focal point to the story, it was more about finding that special love for a second time. Realizing that you can lose something over something small. The past and present mingling was also really fun. This is my first book by this author and while I struggled with Belle’s characters, I really did like the story. 4 stars #2OCCJD

I’ve been sitting here trying to figure just how to review this. No amount of words could do this book justice. It’s heart wrenching emotion shattering, and heart warming. A realistic story about finding love, believing you lost that love to finding that love again and falling in love all over again. This story had me hooked right from page one.
