Mel's thoughts...

One Last Wish is an incredibly heartbreaking yet sweet story. It’s a quick read and I definitely felt the connections between the two main characters Denver and Aubrey. I absolutely loved Denver, he was sincere, devoted and patient. At the same time he also had some hot alpha male tendencies that I love and to me they were signature ARR. It’s one of the main reasons I love her books, her alpha males just do it for me every time. This books has plenty of “oh my heart” moments that will make you swoon and honestly just warm your heart. It’s a story that shows you that even after loss there is still a life to live. A beautiful quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed

About the Book

Finding out my husband, my best friend, only had months to live was devastating. Sitting out under the star-filled sky, listening to him wish on star after star, night after night, almost killed me. He never wished to get better. He wished for me to be happy. He wished for me to find the strength to move on. I told him his wishes were pointless, because happiness wouldn’t exist without him. I found out soon after he passed away that I was pregnant. But I had no idea his final wish would bring me something I never thought I’d find again.
