Dawne's thoughts...

A modern day Beauty and the Beast with a lot of hot scenarios. So much smoldering, alpha male moments sprinkled with almost too many cat and mouse games. It almost got to the point that I just wanted to shout " Just get on with it!" If you want something to read to put you in the mood, this is it.

Alexandra's thoughts...

I thought it was a good story and was written well but it lacked a few elements for me. I felt Bronte and Caine were just running around each other but there wasn't any true connection between them so when they finally came together it lacked something for me. I also think that if the author had given a backstory early on in the book of why Bronte was so scared to follow through with a relationship with Caine, it may have helped with the flow of the book. All in all, it was an enjoyable book.

About The Book

The man they call the beast, sworn off love, meets the bookish beauty who thinks that love exists only in books. When Bronte Beltran finds out that her next assignment is cataloging the famous Aubyn Hall library, she's ecstatic. But when she finds out they call the owner the Beast of Aubyn Hall, not so much. A week in a dusty library should be right up her alley. But a wrong word at the wrong time and she might just find out what exactly is beastly about the Beast of Aubyn Hall.

About The Author

Alex L. Michaels lives in Europe, in a small country you probably never heard of. She always wanted to be a writer, but it took her a long time to get there. She loves writing romance, although poetry was her first love. She is a film buff, TV show addict and horror genre aficionado. But books always come first. Her heroes are sometimes charming, sometimes brooding, but always alpha. Her heroines are cheeky, independent and always worth fighting for.
