Yes my fav hockey romance reads are back with The Chase which is a spinoff of The Off Campus Series and let's just say that there was no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't love this book. We are back at Briar University and it's been way too long. I have been waiting for this one for awhile and they say good things come to those who wait. They would be right on the money. Fitzy, the tatted up, hockey hunk, computer nerd/gamer & Summer Di Laurentis, rich girl/party girl sister to the infamous party boy Dean. The attraction between these two is definitely there but Fitzy is determined that is not the road he was to go down and now these two are roommates. Can you say sexual tension !!! These two just fight and fight their feelings and the back and forth in this will drive you a bit mad while at the same time have your adrenaline going. It's like watching a pin pong game in a sauna. This book has that little bit of angst that hits you in the heart at just the right times. We do also get to see some of those fav characters we love from the OC series. There really isn't too much more for me to say really without spoiling this one but The Chase is absolutely everything I expected it to be and more. I'll be rereading time and time again and I'll be patiently not so patiently waiting for the next one.
About the Book
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother. And that his best friend has a crush on me. And that I just moved in with them. Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates? I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing? He knows where to find me.

“Dance with me?”
I want to say no.
But I also want to say yes.
I call this the Summer Dilemma—the frustrating, polar reactions this green-eyed, golden-haired goddess sparks in me.
Fuck yes and hell no.
Get naked with her. Run far, far away from her.
“Thanks, but I don’t like to dance.” I’m not lying. Dancing’s the worst.
