Nancy's thoughts...

This is the first time I have read this author and all I can say is WOW! What a great romantic suspense story. I love the way Gunner was always in the right place at the right time to rescue Reagan. There were some exciting twists and turns. This book grabbed me from the beginning and I was not able to put it down. I can't wait to see what Kierstan will write about next.

About Kiersten

WHO AM I? My name's Kiersten. I'm a book lover, first and foremost, and an author. I currently have six published novels--all various sub-genres of suspense. I live in a tiny town in Illinois and when I'm not writing I can be found with my husband Michael, our daughter, and our semi-human Boston Terrier. I'm a coffee and Netflix addict and Shonda Rhimes super-fan. You can find me on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, or you can just follow my blog to see what I'm up to lately. Favorite Books? Too many to name and it changes daily, but I do have a few that seem to maintain their place on the list. Anything at all by Mark Edwards (My favorite of his is The Magpies) or Jodi Picoult (my favorite of hers is Plain Truth). Sleep Tight by Rachel Abbott. The entire Harry Potter series (though Half-Blood Prince is my favorite). A Necessary End by Holly Brown. The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll. Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes. Have a favorite book? Recommend it to me! I love finding new stories to read! If you could work with any author who would it be? This is a hard one, because I already have so many great author friends and because there are so many authors out there I would love to meet. I have to say JK Rowling, though. She was my favorite author as a child and her work inspires me so much. Did you always know that you wanted to write? YES. There's a quote that says: a true writer doesn't always want to write, they need to write. That's me. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. Seriously. Poems, short stories, novels, you name it. I was that child in the back of my elementary school class that had to be told to put the pencil down and stop writing in the middle of a lesson. I didn't choose writing, it chose me. What inspires your books? A little bit of everything, honestly. A lot of times it's a question of "what if?" "what would happen?" or "what would I do?" but I've also been known to be inspired by songs, or things I overhear, tv shows, or even research for different books.
