Book Review - SCANDALOUS by L.J. SHEN
Well fuck me dead !!!!!!!!!!!! She did it again. L.J. Shen comes at you with another hot, wicked and Scandalous read. I mean drown me in a fucking Ocean because Trent Rexroth is ....... Well, he's calculating, smart, almost maniacal and if you are in his way then watch yourself. Because what he doesn't say he makes up for in those stares that will make your dayum panties melt and when he does speak, he's a asshole who gives no fucks. And here's the thing about Trent, he's not shady, he doesn't have a tainted past really he just simply his own man. He answers to no one, he does things on his own terms and he's all fucking man. Almost silent but deadly and if you happen to be in his crosshairs you are most likely to get burnt. Trent's bark is as bad as his bite, but part of me craved both of those things from him and L.J. Shen delivered tenfold. This book has some seriously wicked hot scenes that may have you checking your pulse to make sure you aren't going into cardiac arrest. I could feel myself clenching my own legs together while reading some parts of this book. Edie and Trent play an almost dangerous game in this with each other that could potentially blow up in their faces. There is also some seriously heart breaking moments in this book that honestly pull at your heart in more ways than one and gawd if there weren't times that I thought to myself LJ is gonna break me a bit and she did. These Hotholes are seriously ridiculously addicting and the Sinners of Saints series is one of my go to favs. I would recommend this book and this series to anyone with a beating pulse.
Just when you think things can't get any hotter with these Hotholes in walks Trent "The mute" Roxreth now I'm not gonna lie I think he's my favourite he's the broody moody silent arsehole (I'm sooo in love with him) nothing is simple for Trent and things are about to get a whole lot more complicated when in walks Edie.....it shouldn't happen it's a temptation that's forbidden but what Trent wants
Trent gets and holy shit that is some huge temptation that's landed at his feet. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and I was afraid my kindle was gonna combust I hope and pray that this isn't the last that we've seen of the Hotholes I NEED MORE of them
