*Each Bishop Brothers novel is an interconnected standalone*

Alex Bishop is your typical cowboy.

Charming, sexy, and wears a panty-melting smirk.

Working on the ranch helped build his solid eight-pack and smoking body. He’s every girl’s wet fantasy and he knows it too. Alex doesn’t follow the rules of your typical playboy bachelor. After wining and dining his dates and giving them the best night of their lives, he always sends flowers and calls the next day—even if it’s to say, let’s just be friends. His mama taught him manners after all and his southern blood knows how to be a gentleman. Still, that isn’t enough to tame the wildest of the Bishop brothers.

River Lancaster has finally met the man of her dreams. Too bad after six months of romantic bliss, she finds out he’s married. With a broken heart and blind rage, she books herself a ticket to Key West, Florida. Tired of cheaters and liars, she’s set on escaping to forget he ever existed. Who needs a man when there’s an all-you-can-drink margarita bar, anyway? That’s what she tells herself until she bumps into the right guy who can make all those bad memories disappear.

Even if it’s only temporarily.

Two weeks on the beach is what they both need. No strings attached, no expectations, no broken hearts. Too bad the universe has other plans—one that’ll change the entire course of their lives in just nine short months.

**A complete standalone contemporary romance with a little southern drama**

Where do i even start with Taming Him by Kennedy Fox. Ok, first this is the first cowboy romance I have read, but I loved it. Seriously, this week has been stressing me out with planning my daughters party- making decorations, buying food to mske, getting games situated, i honestly didn't think i would finish reading in time (& had asked for a couple days extension, just in case) turns out I didn't need it- I devoured this story. Alex Bishop is one of 4 of the Bishop boys- born & raised in Texas. He's a player, but knows how to work his charm & is a gentleman. He s sweet, funny, and has a accent, what's not to love? River works as a pediatric nurse in Wisconsin, loves her job, and was dealing with an asshole who turns out to have been married while sleeping with her. The meet in Key West Flordia. Rivers friend Natalie forced her to go- saying a vacation is just what she needs after her failed relationship. Alex friends Dylan won a trip and brought Alex along. Talk about Meet-Cute, right? So what happens when the vacation is over & they need to get back to the real world? This book was a great book for my first cowboy romance. It was cute, sweet, funny, and had me grinning like a fool. I loved it. And it also brought some feels along. You get plenty of the Bishop Brothers antics along for the ride. And Courtney & Drew are even mentioned too 😉 If you are looking for a cowboy romance, that's filled with southern charm and hot Bishop men, then you NEED to read this book! 5⭐ out of 5⭐

River and Alex. Boy, if you love a bit of Southerm Charm and sexy as sin Cowboys, you will adore this. Alex is one of those men you would love to sweep you off your feet and River os one of those ladies you want to be. I think after reading this, i want to head to the the Keys and find my own Cowboy 😂. This book is really sweet and i enjoyed it, especially the bit of spice chucked in. Good read!

** spoiler alert ** This book was awesome. I’ve always had a thing for cowboys so this book was my perfect read. Ranchers Alex and Dylan head to Key West for a vacation. Best friends River and Natalie (and Nats boyfriend Adam) are at the same luxury resort. River and Alex decide to have a holiday fling, checking off ticks on the sex bucket list as they go 😂 A few months later and Alex still can’t get River off his mind. When River turns up at the family ranch in Texas, pregnant with his baby, he couldn’t be happier! River makes plans to move to Texas........ My favourite character in this was actually Natalie! I found myself laughing at so many of her comments. Things such as, “Are you having some Texas sausage for breakfast?”. She was a hoot! I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, it’s a great start to this series.
